Support the Trust
What we actually need, what your contribution pays for, and how the money is accounted for.
Give time
By far the most useful thing. The kitchen needs hands from 09:00 on Sundays, the Saturday school needs a second adult in each classroom, and the building needs someone who owns a ladder.
Give goods
Rice, lentils, atta, cooking oil, ghee, tea, sugar, paper goods and cleaning supplies. Also useful: folding chairs, a working vacuum cleaner, and outdoor lighting for the lawn.
Give funds
Contributions towards rent, heating, insurance and festival costs. Given in person or by arrangement — we do not take payments through this website.
How giving works here
There is no donation button on this website, and that is deliberate. We are a small volunteer trust and we would rather not handle card data or run an online payment system we cannot properly secure. Contributions are made in person at the mandir, or arranged directly by speaking to the trustee.
- In person. A donation box sits by the shrine entrance. It is opened by two people together and the amount is written in the book the same day.
- By arrangement. Call (303) 501-5481 or email info@shrikhodiyarmandirtrust.website to arrange a cheque or bank transfer.
- Receipts. Issued on request for any amount. Ask at the time or email us afterwards with the date.
- Sponsorship. Families often sponsor a specific evening — the flowers, the meal, the dhol player at Navratri. Ask the festival coordinator.
Please read our Donation & Refund Policy before giving. We do not use third-party fundraising agents, and no one from the Trust will ever telephone you asking for card details.
